I’ve been to a lot of ramen places and I’m rather picky when it comes to my ramen. I’m also all about a short commute time, in comes Muteki Ramen. Located walking distance from the Grove St. path station, which I was staying at the time. Place was pretty slow, only a few groups there when I arrived. Service was pretty standard. The ramen though, definitely above your average ramen. The straight noodles are an absolute must over the wavy and the Tonkotsu broth had the exact flavor I desired. Egg was seasoned correctly, yolk had the right consistency I expect from a ramen egg. Overall a great ramen and aesthetically pleasing establishment.

Muteki coming to Jersey City elevates the ramen here in town. The Black Garlic Tonkotsu was creamy and rich and definitely worth a try.

Haven't tried the ramen yet but had a great experience with their bento boxes/rice bowls. The pork katsu curry bowl is packaged very neatly for takeout, tastes great, and has good portions for the price. Friendly staff too!

PLUSES: - Wide variety of ramens - Tasty dishes other than ramen - Sufficient meal sizes - Affordable - Absolutely delicious tea with coconut milk (you need to try it) AREA FOR IMPROVEMENT: - Interior design is outdated - It's dark from outside, doesn't look very welcoming

THE BEST RAMEN & BAO BUNS IN JERSEY CITY + exceptional service! The decor is very bright and viby, food comes out within 2 minutes after you put in the order. A major plus is that they’re BYOB and relatively democratic when it comes to pricing. For 2 ramens, 2 sets of bao buns and pork gyoza, we only paid 33$ each (2 people) and took half of food home as it was impossible to finish such big portions. The place was packed on Friday at 11 am when they just opened. Major recommendation!!!

Local place that is casual and reliable. The food was tasty and came out pretty quick. Cool decor that adds to the ambiance. Only recommendation would be to offer some miso, chili oil, etc add ons to the menu.

More impressed by the service than the food. Our server (younger gentlemen) was running around waiting tables by himself. Despite how busy he was he was very friendly, checked in on us, absolutely very polite the whole time. Ambiance: the layout and decorations are well laid out. The front has a unique decoration as well. Food: prices are reasonable but I was expecting more. Milk tea boba: large size, boba was well done texture wise, astronomically sweet tea though. I would recommend asking for less sweetness Karaage buns: chicken was fried well, the sauce is mild, and their name seared onto the buns, the bun was soft, overall enjoyed it but would've liked a little stronger flavor Muteki ramen: the noodles itself were very well done, I would've enjoyed a stronger broth and more flavorful meat (both the Chau's pork and chicken). I found it more on the blander side. For the price it's not bad but I've enjoyed better ramen Food: 4/5 Ambiance: 5/5 Service: 5/5
